I've recently learned the ancient skill of mapping for Half-Life, something lost to the winds of time. I personally use Quark, not Worldcraft. One of the difficulties in this process is recreating models and rediscovering engine quirks. Of course this would be a lot easier if I had someone else's work to view, but unfortunately mappers tend to be very... reluctant to let their map sources go. One day though, Hondo--to my great surprise as he's as heavy into secrecy as anyone--decided to release a few of his. You can't find them anymore though, as the site was lost a long time ago. Or can you? For a change, I had a bit of foresight on this one, and downloaded his map sources before they lost their host. And since I can't find these sources anywhere else on the internet, I'll just drop them here for now until PlanetWon2 has a more comprehensive mapping section. Enjoy. I found them very useful myself.
